How long does it take to create 30 minute flash animation?
I want to know, on average, how long does it take to create a 30 minute cartoon in Flash? For my production class, we have to come up with paperwork as if we are in the business. I need to get a time line made on about how long it would take to make one episode. This would include all voice acting, background music, and special FX.
Edit: We would be in a company of 6 people.
Well, my computer teacher said that about 3,500 slides or a little more (I can’t remember the exact number he said) is around 5 minutes, so 21,000 slides or a little more is around 30 minutes. If you did 500 slides a day you could get it done (without the voice acting, background music, and special FX) in 42 days, and if you did 1000 slides a day you could get it done in 21 days. I don’t know how many more days it would take to do the voice acting, background music, and special FX, but I don’t think it would take much longer if you have 5 other people helping you. My friend and I are doing a 30 minute flash over the summer for our computer teacher which we would give to him at the beginning of the next school year, but its only 2 people working on it, so it would take us longer to finish it than it would for your group.
